Mechanicsburg Community Church (MCC) is a highly community-oriented church where people care and invest deeply in one another both in and outside of the church. MCC is laid back, authentic, and transparent in Sunday morning gatherings, small groups, and other gatherings.

Our church places a special value on children and families worshipping together. MCC loves to pray together, share with one another, and have a lot of fun. In the community, MCC is known for its generosity and service and as a church that truly loves and supports the local community and global ministries.

MCC was launched in 2014 and meets in the local middle school. Attendance has grown to average 120 (children and adults) in-person attendance (170 prior to COVID) and additional online views. In the past three years MCC has grown from a staff of one full-time pastor to a team of five, including a full-time lead pastor, two part-time pastors (family ministry/children’s ministry pastor and discipleship and connection pastor), a part-time administrative assistant, and a youth intern.

About the Lead Pastor Role

As we enter the next chapter of ministry together, we sense that God has a fresh vision for our church, and we are excited to welcome a new full-time lead pastor to guide us into this next season. We seek a relational leader eager to set a clear vision for the future of MCC, a heart for discipleship, and communication abilities that draw people together. As the leader of a multi-staff church ministry, the successful candidate will need to engage with and help develop the giftings of others. Above all of these characteristics, we desire a leader who has a heart after God, is full of faith, wisdom and prayer, and clearly understands that ministry flows out of a transformed life in Jesus.
