Part-Time Family Ministry Program Coordinator

This position serves the church by coordinating Wednesday evening programming and giving overall administrative assistance to Family Ministries. This person will work as part of the Family Ministry team and alongside other staff members to pursue the church’s mission, culture, and values.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide input and feedback, and have a positive attitude in interacting with staff, congregation, and community

- Creative and organized thinking with good time management skills
- Ability to function as a self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent and prompt communication skills (written, verbal)
- Administrative experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Interest and growing proficiency in the uses of social media
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments or individuals to execute the assigned tasks
- Ability to manage conflict in a loving and discerning way

Responsibilities
- Provide overall administrative support for day-to-day operations of Family Ministries, including but not limited to scheduling workers, facilitating event registrations and special services, and managing the check-in process.
- Order and maintain inventory of classroom supplies.
- Maintain Child Protection policies, including up-to-date volunteer clearances.
- Effectively communicate with all Family Ministry participants (children, youth, young adults, parents, volunteers, and EBIC church family), including information about ministry opportunities and needs.
- Coordinate and be present for Wednesday evening programming, ensuring that all activities function and work together smoothly.
- Provide focused leadership for all aspects of the Wednesday evening kids’ program.
- Be present and available Sunday mornings for the supervision of transitions/dismissals of kids’ programs, monitoring check-in stations, and filling in where needed.
Hours: 20 hrs./wk. (Flexible weekday schedule, with Wednesday evening and Sunday morning responsibilities)
