The Global Ministry Operations Coordinator supports the World Missions Director by assisting with the supervision of Regional Administrators and Regional Coordinators, writes reports, measures progress on strategic plans, evaluates special project proposals, and ensures follow-through on meeting action items. This position produces presentations and collaborates with the Director and Resource Coordinator to refine FAQs and constituent messaging. The role also provides editorial support for missions-related resources and serves as a member of the Crisis Management Team.

Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise the work of Regional Administrators and Regional Coordinators in consultation with the Director
- Review and recommend edits to strategic plans, track historical information that should be included in the strategic plan
- Evaluate special project proposals
- Help to identify mobilization opportunities and developmental experiences for incoming missionaries
- Collaborate with Regional Administrator to measure, evaluate and report on global worker ministry goals
- Support the Director of World Missions
- Write drafts of reports
- Follow up on meeting action items and assist in delegating
- Help create presentations
- Work with Director and Resource Coordinator to continually improve FAQ and other messaging to existing and new constituents
- Writing and editing missions related prayer resources, letters, and constituent communications.
- Serve as a member of Crisis Management Team
- Ability to travel internationally and on short notice
- Other duties as assigned.

- Technical Capacity – Proficiency with the application of information technology in an administrative setting, including use of social media, Constant Contact, email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Physical Demands of the Work Environment
The Global Ministry Operations Coordinator position operates in a church office environment and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and routinely operating standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The role of the Global Ministry Operations Coordinator requires the ability to move about within the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
The role of Global Ministry Operations Coordinator may involve travel and requires the ability to move about outside the office and the visual acuity to operate motor vehicles. The role will require occasional weekend work related to in-person or online events. While performing the duties of the job, the Global Ministry Operations Coordinator is often required to remain in a stationary position while making presentations; handle or control objects, tools, or controls; communicate, discern, and discuss within both public and private contexts. The Global Ministry Operations Coordinator may be requested to lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision (such as needed in viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading), distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
