About Millersville BIC

Who We Are – Millersville Brethren in Christ Church is a community of faith that seeks to love God and others wholeheartedly.

Our Church Family – We are a congregation of about 35-40 people, and we embrace the blessings of being a smaller church. We prioritize authenticity, simplicity, and meaningful connection, sensing God’s delight as we worship intergenerationally and create space for people of all ages to use their gifts in worship and service.

Our gatherings are informal and family-friendly, yet we appreciate diverse expressions of worship. We enjoy both contemporary music and hymns, impromptu prayers and liturgical moments, all offered with a spirit of openness to God’s presence.

We are grateful for how God has nurtured in us a love for worship, a commitment to generosity and faithful stewardship, and deep kinship with one another.

Where We’re Headed – As we enter a new season as a church, we are again placing our trust in God to provide clarity and the right leadership for the next stage. We are prayerfully trusting the Lord to provide clarity and the right pastoral leadership for our next chapter.

We seek an optimistic, highly relational leader with visionary gifts that inspire, administrative skills that empower others, and communication abilities that draw people together in unity. We also desire a dynamic teacher whose vibrant spiritual life allows them to convey biblical truth in thoughtful and practical ways.
