Lead Pastor

Speedwell Heights Brethren in Christ Church is located in Northern Lancaster County, just outside the town of Lititz. Positioned in a growing area, the church desires to reach multi-generational demographic of people from various backgrounds with the love of Jesus.

This loving congregation of 100 attendees is seeking their next lead pastor who will help to guide them into their next chapter of ministry. Well-qualified candidates should have a Jesus-centered and caring character, filled with approachability and humility. They must demonstrate skills in leadership, especially in oversight of staff, and an ability to connect with multiple age groups. A heart characterized by love for Jesus and people, both inside and outside the church, is a must, along with a focus on Biblical preaching that connects to everyday life.  The church is open to all candidates who fit these characteristics, but some previous pastoral ministry is preferred.

As a part of the Brethren in Christ U.S. (BIC U.S.) family of churches, candidates should resonate with BIC U.S. theology and Core Values and be licensed or willing to be licensed in the BIC U.S.
