Church Overview
Purpose
To oversee EBIC’s Audio/Visual equipment and teams, enhancing the church’s communications and media presence.
Hours – Part-time, up to 12 hours per week
Reports To – Worship Arts Pastor (worship A/V)
Supervises – Volunteer team members
Requirements & Qualifications
- A vital commitment to Christ and demonstrated spiritual maturity
- Eagerness to learn, investigate, and take initiative in assigned areas
- Ability to work independently and to problem-solve as needed
- Ability to work well with others and process ideas and suggestions in positive ways
- Experience in one or more aspects of church media and technology (A/V production, HTML, etc.) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Worship A/V experience
- Knowledge of Audio mixing
Responsibilities
- Media & Data Support
- Enter data into presentation software for weekly worship services and assist in development of slides
- Aid in recording and editing of videos
- Design lighting to complement platform and theme elements
- Maintain A/V equipment and suggest any needed improvements
- Upload weekly sermon videos to church YouTube and website
- Worship A/V Resourcing
- Advise and support Sunday morning A/V volunteers and problem-solve as needed
- Aid in monitoring and management of service audio mix, livestream, and recording
- Assist in planning and setup of platform for Tuesday rehearsals, Sunday morning services, and special events (weddings, funerals, etc.)
- Attend Tuesday evening rehearsals to offer A/V support
- Create and print service orders
- Volunteer Management
- Recruit and schedule volunteer technicians to serve at regular services and as needed at special events
- Provide training and support for volunteer technicians at least 1-2 times a year
- Lead Media Team meetings approximately 2 times a year
