Part-Time Worship Director

New Hope Church is a gospel-centered church committed to biblical truth and raising up the next generation of worship leaders. 

New Hope Church is hiring a part-time Worship Director to lead authentic, Christ-centered worship for our growing congregation. This is a paid position (5–10 hours/week), with salary based on experience. We’re looking for someone with strong musical leadership, a heart for discipleship, and a desire to help build a worship ministry that will shape this church for years to come.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship for our 10:00 AM Sunday morning service each week.
• One Sunday per month, lead a full worship team.
• Once per quarter, lead all-ages family-style worship.
• On all other Sundays, lead solo (guitar or piano preferred).
• Recruit and develop volunteer team members.
• Prepare worship sets and coordinate with the pastor.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Devoted follower of Jesus Christ with a clear testimony and biblical lifestyle.
• Full agreement with New Hope Church’s beliefs, theology, and Statement of Faith (provided upon request). 
• Strong musical ability, especially guitar or piano for solo leading.
• Reliable, teachable, and relational.
• Prior worship leading experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.

Compensation & Benefits

Part-time, paid position (5–10 hours/week). Salary based on experience. Mileage and related expenses covered as applicable. Direct mentorship from pastoral staff and hands-on leadership development.
