With a heart full of gratitude, I sincerely thank you for the unwavering support you have given to Piccolo School over the years.
Nine students were with us when we started the program in 2021. At that time, they could not read or write, had never sat behind a desk, and could not construct even a simple three-word sentence. Yet you believed in this vision. Through your generosity and constant support, those same learners have experienced remarkable transformation.
Up to date, we have 11 students who have gone on to nearby Secondary Schools (equivalent of middle and high school in the U.S.). In addition, seven students are enrolled in primary school (elementary equivalent). We also continue nurturing nine nursery learners who are still learning how to read and write so that, by the grace and mercies of God, they too can successfully transition into day primary schools.
In total, Piccolo School currently has 27 students.
We continue to thank Nahumba Central Office of the BICC in Zambia for their continued support and partnership in the day-to-day operations of the school. We are especially grateful for the guidance of Bishop Nsemani, whose constant counsel and time-to-time guidance in our daily activities has helped us remain focused and aligned with our mission.
Furthermore, we applaud our supporters in the U.S. for standing with these orphans and vulnerable learners, giving them hope and opportunity throughout these years. Your support has truly been a pillar of strength and transformation in the lives of these children.
As their teacher and mentor, I remain a living testimony of your generosity. What you have invested is not merely financial support. It is hope restored, confidence built, and futures secured.

About Piccolo
The Piccolo School of Excellence walks alongside vulnerable children in Choma, Zambia, who have fallen behind in school due to the loss of a parent or parents. Piccolo provides tutoring, support, and mentorship to prepare students to pass entrance exams. Once re-enrolled, the program continues helping with tuition and other school-associated fees, setting students up for long-lasting success.

Raman Musocha is the lead teacher and founder of the Piccolo School of Excellence in Choma, Zambia. Piccolo, formerly known as the Choma Reading Room, helps at-risk students catch up in their studies and re-enroll in school. As a youth, Raman was a student of the Reading Room and is pleased to support children in situations similar to his. Piccolo is a ministry of the BIC Church in Zambia and partner with BIC U.S. World Missions.
