We are pleased to announce that Danny Román-Gloró has been hired as the Latin America Regional Coordinator for Brethren in Christ U.S.

Over the past 14 years, Bishop Aner Morejon of the Southeast Conference has developed strong connections with BIC congregations in Latin America. In anticipation of his retirement in July 2026, this position was created to continue investing in these relationships and to help local, contextually-appropriate leadership structures develop.
In this role, Danny will work to advance disciple-making and church multiplication by collaborating with regional leaders in Mexico and Central and South America. He will support local congregations in establishing local structures with indigenous leadership.
Danny will accomplish tasks for both BIC U.S. and World Missions under the supervision of World Missions Director Jonathan Lloyd.
“We are grateful to have Danny joining our team,” says Jonathan Lloyd. “We anticipate that God will continue to use him as the church multiplies throughout Latin America.”
Along with Mike Cassel (regional administrator for Latin America) and the World Missions leadership team, Danny will also provide support for the long-term BIC U.S. missionaries serving in the region.
“Danny’s gifts and prior experience walking alongside pastors and missionaries as they develop their capacity to go out and make disciples brings a sense of anticipation,” says Jonathan. “We believe we will see Latin American congregations send out even more workers into the harvest field because of Danny’s investment.”
