Julie Cook
Julie Cook grew up on a small farm in Michigan, and her fascination with real-life missionaries grew into a passion for people of every nation and tribe to be introduced to Jesus’ redemption and reconciliation. After earning an accounting degree, she moved to Zambia to serve with BIC U.S. World Missions and the local BIC church for two years. She returned to the States in 2014 and accepted a job as the staff accountant for BIC U.S. and continues to serve with the World Missions team through finances. When she’s not budgeting, calculating exchange rates, answering emails, or playing with spreadsheets in Excel, you might find her baking a batch of muffins or hiking one of the many trails of central Pennsylvania. Julie also loves farmers’ markets, Malawian tea, fresh garden bouquets, quality chocolate ice cream, and spending time with family and friends, especially the littles.
