Pathway Community Church is seeking a passionate Follower of Jesus Christ and skilled dedicated Part-Time Worship Leader to join our community and willing to lead us through heartfelt worship.

Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours per week, including Sundays and occasional rehearsals
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead Sunday worship services with engaging, Christ-centered music
  • Plan and select worship songs that align with the church’s mission and sermon themes
  • Coordinate and lead rehearsals with volunteer worship team (vocalists and instrumentalists)
  • Foster a worshipful atmosphere that encourages congregational participation
  • Collaborate with pastoral staff to ensure seamless integration of worship into services
  • Participate in occasional special events (e.g., holiday services, community outreach)

Qualifications

  • Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to Christian values
  • Proven experience leading worship in a church setting
  • Proficiency in playing an instrument (guitar or keyboard preferred) and leading vocals
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse volunteer worship team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of contemporary Christian worship music
  • Heart for ministry and building community through worship

Preferred

  • Formal music training or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with sound systems and worship presentation software (e.g., ProPresenter)
