Preston & Rebekah Teuscher

Preston and Rebekah got married in 2023 and spent the first few years of their marriage in Mechanicsburg, Pa., while attending their home church The Meeting House, Dillsburg Campus.

While attending The Meeting House, God further activated the Teuschers’ hearts for the work of peace-building and spiritual formation in cross-cultural settings. When the opportunity arose to serve at LCC International University, Preston and Rebekah were ready to say “yes” to God’s leading.

LCC is a North American style, Christian liberal arts university in Klaipėda, Lithuania, and is a beautiful intersection of both of their experiences and passion areas. Preston’s background is in student development at Christian higher education institutions where he enjoys mentoring and walking alongside college students during formative seasons of life. Rebekah’s education and experience is in cross-cultural ministry, community development, and refugee resettlement through which she provided practical care to vulnerable populations as well as fellow ministry workers.

Preston and Rebekah felt drawn to LCC’s unique missional context. The student body comes from 60+ countries, many of which are war-affected areas with little exposure to hearing about faith and life in Jesus. In this unique confluence, students are open to relationships, conversation, and spiritual exploration.

Preston serves as LCC’s Director of Housing and Residence Life, which includes leading a department that oversees crisis response, student conduct, and overall culture within the residence halls on campus. In his role he ministers through daily presence with students, offers care in vulnerable moments, and guides students toward healthy, grace-filled community life, shepherding the on-campus community toward shalom.

Rebekah serves in multiple capacities at LCC supporting first year students in their integration into university life, including coaching and mentoring, teaching life skills and healthy coping strategies, and mentoring student leaders. Rebekah spends most of her time in one-on-one conversations with students where she gets to walk alongside them as they wrestle with questions of faith, identity, and community.

Ultimately, in the midst of working with students who are exploring faith in Jesus – or maybe hearing about him for the first time – and searching for healing from conflict and trauma, Preston and Rebekah’s ministry vision is to offer hope and model Christ through their daily rhythms, relationships, and conversations with students.
