BIC U.S. World Missions is excited to announce the launch of a new project to support young musicians in Thai BIC congregations.

All around the world, Christians use music to glorify God, to repeat his promises, and to remind ourselves of his goodness. And BIC house churches in urban Thailand are training up the next generation in this global and perpetual practice of worshipping God through music.

Children and young adults have been learning to play instruments so they can lead music during house church worship services. The local church in Thailand is pledging to continue to provide these music lessons, but as the worship team grows, there aren’t enough instruments to go around. With additional instruments, these young people will be able to make music to the Lord and use their growing talents to serve their congregations.

The “Musical Instruments for House Churches” project aims to raise just over $3,000 to provide musical instruments and associated equipment for young Thai musicians.

In addition to leading worship at weekly house church meetings, these new musicians will share music at larger gatherings of the house church network. As such, this project will also purchase protective cases to transport the new instruments to these larger gatherings.

God desires the worship of all people in every language. By giving to the Musical Instruments for House Churches project, you contribute to the worship of God and the raising up of the next generation of leaders.
