Ericka Henry Hired as Multiplication Coordinator

This new role was created to advance disciple-making and church multiplication across BIC U.S.

In November 2025, we shared the launch of a Multiplication Movement Vision to create pathways for new works and leaders. A crucial part of the new vision was hiring a Multiplication Coordinator to help implement the plan. Today, we are pleased to welcome Ericka Henry to this role.

Ericka Henry, multiplication coordinator

Ericka is a pastor, church planter, and missional practitioner with over 15 years of ministry leadership experience. After co-planting her first church at nineteen, she has gone on to lead discipleship development and organizational change in contexts spanning mega-church teams to micro-church communities and more.

“Ericka brings a wealth of experience, and passion to this role,” says Jonathan Lloyd, director of World Missions and a member of the denominational working group behind the Multiplication Movement Vision. “I’m excited to see how God uses her in this role to help the Brethren in Christ in the U.S. come into a fresh season of disciple making and church multiplication.”

Over the next five years, Ericka will advance disciple-making and church multiplication across BIC U.S. by collaborating with regional leaders, casting vision, and facilitating strategic processes.

“My journey with Jesus as a pastor and church planter has been beautiful, challenging, and transformational,” says Ericka. “This role feels like an invitation deeper into that, and I’m excited to keep learning with others, collaborating across the Church, and supporting everyday disciples as God sparks new and renewed multiplying works among us.”

Looking ahead further, Ericka anticipates a Fall 2026 gathering for multiplication leaders and the development of a denominational incubation entity that will support multiplication leaders from inception to establishment.

“We are inviting ideas and conversations in our process to develop supports and resources for new and existing BIC multiplication efforts, and we are looking for ways to support multiplication leaders from the earliest stages,” says Ericka.

Current or potential multiplication leaders are invited to jumpstart the conversation by sharing their multiplication initiative ideas via this online form available in English and Spanish. You can also contact Ericka at ehenry@bicus.org.

Ericka’s role and the larger Multiplication Movement Vision came about in response to Priority 3 of Project 250: “multiplying missional congregations, movements, and leaders.”
