About the Presenter

Salynda Hogsett, content editor

Salynda “Lindy” Hogsett is a passionate storyteller and writer. She clearly sensed God leading her to become a writer in high school and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in writing from the University of Pittsburgh. She started her career on the web marketing team for a wallpaper company in York, Pa.

As much as she enjoyed writing about home decor, she wanted to use her skills for something more meaningful. She accepted the position of content editor for the BIC U.S. communications team in 2020. In this role, she oversee’s the denomination’s social media, website, blog, and newsletter. She loves that this job allows her to connect with BIC people in the U.S. and around the globe to tell their stories.

Lindy was raised in the BIC and feels blessed to be part of this family. She attends Mechanicsburg BIC where she is involved with worship and youth ministry. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, watching sitcoms, writing, and trying to read more.
