717-697-2634 ext. 5421 | templeton@bicus.orgEstablished in 2022, the Brethren in Christ U.S. Legacy Society recognizes, thanks, and honors individuals who leave a gift for a BIC organization in their estate.
Together, the impact of our 130+ members is now nearly $5 million in future ministry funding!
Society membership is available to those who give to BIC U.S., World Missions, a regional conference, or a BIC congregation through their Will, retirement plan, or other charitable giving arrangement.
We invite you to consider partnering with us by making a gift provision in your estate plan.
The Legacy Society aims to grow to 250 members by the BIC’s 250th anniversary in 2028. Contact Mark Templeton to become one of those 250.
“Legacy giving through our Will provides a means to give without limit or reservation when we are in the presence of Jesus and no longer need anything! We are so glad to have a way to extend our values even beyond our lifetimes.”
Adam and Kim Forry, pastoral couple at Elizabethtown BIC (PA)
“My father was a BIC pastor, and things were sometimes a little dicey financially. But I saw my parents be financially, spiritually, emotionally, and physically committed to supporting the Church. Their legacy helped underline the importance of leaving something to the Church if we were able to do that.”
Esther Spurrier, retired BIC missionary and pastor for congregational care at Dillsburg BIC (Pa.)
Membership of the Legacy Society may be anonymous if preferred.
