BIC U.S. Communications is excited to welcome Anna Haggard to the position of editor as Scott McFadden transitions to a part-time role. We are grateful for the many ways Scott has served the Church during his time as editor and are excited for the strengths and experience Anna brings to the position.
An English graduate of Asbury University (Wilmore, Ky.), Anna wrote and edited for HOPE International (Lancaster, Pa.), a Christ-centered, international nonprofit serving families in poverty. Partnering with HOPE leadership, she also coauthored The Spiritual Danger of Doing Good and Mission Drift: The Unspoken Crisis Facing Leaders, Charities, and Churches (2015 ECPA Christian Book Award finalist, 2015 Christianity Today Book Award Winner).
From 2014 to 2016, Anna attended Kairos: School of Spiritual Formation, based in Lancaster, while editing for publishing clients. Anna is currently coauthoring Called and Courageous Girls, a children’s book series on women of the Bible. Set to release late 2017 by Harvest House Publishers, the series encourages kids to awaken to their gifts and purposes in Christ.
Anna is grateful to serve the Church in her new role: “I am excited to begin sharing the ways BIC congregations are being the hands and feet of Jesus in our local communities and around the world.”
